Budget Tanzania and Zanzibar Group Tour

With this 12 Day itinerary, you will get immersed in the pristine nature of true African adventure, enjoying a close-up view of wildlife in Ngorongoro and the famous Serengeti National Park, searching for the great migration and take pictures of the wonderful views of Tanzania and relax on beaches of golden sand, bordered by palm trees facing a turquoise sea in Nungwi Zanzibar.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will process your Visa before you meet our Multilingual safari Manager. He will welcome you to Tanzania with a wonderful smile as you head out the arrival area. You can also change your money at the airport before you depart to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Elanacha Hotel

After breakfast, your tour starts with the drive to Tarangire, Tanzania’s fifth largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. Dinner and overnight at Migombani Campsite. (All meals included)

After breakfast drive to the Serengeti National Park, enjoying the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. Leaving the highlands behind, you will enter into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains rolling into the distance, as far as the eye can see. You will head to the central area of the park, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats. In this part of the park, you will visit the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will arrive in time for lunch and afterwards, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Later in the day you will have dinner and your overnight stay in the Seronera Campsite. (All meals included)

After breakfast, you don’t want to miss the beautiful essence of Serengeti Plains, your driver guide will take you to the heart of Serengeti, meeting the group of animals such as Zebra, wildebeest or the wild cat and many others will carter your thirst. Later on, enjoy your picnic lunch at the Seronera visitors’ center and get more attached to the wilderness. After a day filled with wonder, you will drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Simba campsite. (All meals included)

After breakfast, you descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a day filled with wonder. The staggering crater walls rise up around you and on the floor of the crater, you can find everything from grazing wildebeest to racing big cats, black rhinos bursting through the trees, and exotic birds taking flight. You can rest in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the swaying plains, the deep dark forests, and the emerald shimmer of this rich and dramatic landscape. After a day of adventure, you drive to Arusha for your dinner and overnight at Forest Hill Lodge (all meals included)

After your breakfast, enjoy your leisure time just beside the beautiful pool overlooking mount Meru mountain. Later in the afternoon, your driver will be ready to take you to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Prior to landing, you will notice that the crystal clear waters of the Zanzibar beaches truly exist. Our safari manager will welcome you from the airport and transfer you to ZaVa Nungwi(BB) overnight.

These days you enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant just by the beach. These days is set aside for relaxation as you enjoy the beautiful beach. Our perfect choice on a Vast stretch of white sand, blanketed by colorful shells and met by azure blue waters. Overnights at ZaVa Nungwi (BB).

At 8:30 after breakfast depart for a trip of a lifetime. A day trip to Mnemba Island is wonderful as you will swim with hundreds of dolphins. This experience will give you chance to unveil a special natural feeling of the Indian ocean. After lunch, you will return to ZaVa Nungwi (BB) for your relaxation.

After breakfast, our tour starts by visiting the natural forest where the smaller trees and bushes make several sub-canopies under the highest canopy. You will get to see the Mama Mtondoo, an intriguing mahogany tree that is believed to be over 200 years old. You could also catch a glimpse of the massive raffia fern tree that boasts the distinction of having the largest leaves in the world. The forest trails also lead to sightings of other wildlife, such as Sykes monkey, shrew, galago, chameleon, and the shy Ader’s duiker or Suni antelope.

Later depart for your Spice tour and enjoy your lunch in a local village restaurant.
A unique opportunity to breathe in Zanzibar’s scents and spices on a 4-hour walking excursion to see some of the world’s most exotic spices. Get to know what made Zanzibar the world’s biggest exporter of cloves and earned the nickname, the spice island. Today, Zanzibar is still renowned for its clove, nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric, cinnamon, chili, and black pepper. Overnight at ZaVa Nungwi Hotel (BB)

This fine day is set aside for relaxation at the beach and prepare for your departure tomorrow. Overnight at ZaVa Nungwi (BB)

Sadly, today is your last day in Zanzibar. Depending on your flight time our driver will be ready to take you to the airport.
